I chose to go with fashion from my mind map and I sketched out a figure modeling clothes. I kept drawing out my idea and broke it down just shirts, this shirt is suppose to target gym attire but mixed with street wear so I kept coming up with designs to show that implemented together.

Define: Mind Map & Ideation

This is my mind map, this what I used to collect my ideas together. I wrote things that can define me in a way like fashion, where I am from, the sport I like and etc. This helped me come up with a design for a flag. I decided to go with the Dominican flag because it’s a flag it’s self, and all I had to do was chose something else that defines me and I picked was fashion but what I wanted to do with clothes industry.

Develop: Digital Color Palettes

This is the result I get after collecting my ideas and bringing it together. I formed the gym with design adding my initials and adding paint splatter, which I got that inspiration from another brand and I drew out myself and posted it on top of the Dominican flag. In other words its suppose to show a fit guy wearing gym shirt with a cool design. I feel like heading into next semester I can improve on a lot just getting neat lines and designs. I also feel like describing my work better can help understand my design which can give it life. Using these applications to design over and over again can help me improve as I go.
