Texture Collage and Drawings/Rubbings

For the texture project, we were given the opportunity to find textures around the Pearl Building and create rubbings of them. These different patterns were put in twelve different boxes to replicate using tracing techniques. It would be narrowed down to six boxes of our choice. We would then use our Micro Pens to create positive and negative spaces; similar to what we did for the patterns project. Unfortunately, my shadings from class were the incorrect size so I decided to redo them using patterns I found at home. When creating positive and negative I just started shading in one part and then decided where I would go from there. The tracing was difficult because it seems I have to press down really hard when doing it so at times I had to compromise when shapes didn’t come out perfectly.

Nice work on Project #4 Keshawn. You showcased all rubbings in black and white shapes. The measurements are still not correct. It was supposed to be square size not rectangular.

    Keep up the great work!
