Lighting Direction
I like this photo because of the different shades of yellow created from light and dark. The color of the pedal starts to brighter from bottom right towards the top left. This would also be an extreme close up photo because you can actually see the hair on the stem which normally be hard to see to the naked eye. I also like the shallow dept of field that is on the bottom right side of the photo as well as the back which allow us to focus on the bright yellow pedals.

Painting with Light
I choose this specific photo because I like how the light seems like its bouncing around Ivan. The method required the light to go around Ivan fast enough before the photo was taken but as you can see on Ivan’s left side there’s a missing spot of light.

Portrait Lighting for Mood
This is one of my favorite photograph we shoot in class. I choose this one because his mood matches with the lighting. The expression on his face blends in with the deep dark background. Having one light on the side to show some of his face while his other half is dark gives off a dark aura as well as a serious expression.
Of the photos taken in my group i like this one the most the whole purpose of the photo is to make subject look like they are far off but, in actually the subject is right in front of the camera.

light art
Of all the picture that where taken in my group i believe this to be the best due to the fact that the light art just seem to play off of the subject of the photos. I found that the light art helps your eyes to focus on the background with is the subject.

I wasn’t here for this class but I chose this photo because i like her expression, and the way the photo was taken. It looks like the photo was taken at eye level and the lighting is very bright not really making the image look too serious or dark.

I like this photo because of the high contrast. I think the brightness of the yellow is really beautiful and I like how the background is very dark matching the middle of the sunflower.
