the daguerreotype really was one the first form of camera of the 18 century. The difference between today’s photography vs daguerreotype,is the wide gap in technology. the Today’s photography is digital appose to the old fashion daguerreotype silver plate and time consuming preparation to take a picture. the exposure time is different and the level accuracy are similar the only thing that set then apart from each other is the color. the need to be exposed to light concept is still visible in all cameras and its function.the size of the camera and the photo itself have gowned in size. the digital file itself doesn’t age like the daguerreotype plate and the presentation is different, the daguerreotype has a very fancy framing .the time of the exposure just varies in age of the camera.the experience of the trip was a hands on version of my photography class and my photo history together.i had a brief knowledge of the early stages of photography, todays trip was back up with physical pictures.
