 Historic landmark: This is the World’s Fair clock which stands in the center of the lobby.

Restaurant: This the Peacock Alley Restaurant which is right in front of the World’s Fair Clock.

Expression of Hospitality: A concierge is more than just an information desk, they make restaurant reservations and etc.

Places to Work: One of the places you can work within Waldorf Astoria is in the BOH.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Amenity: One of the rooms we visited had a bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower area.

Banquet Style (Room Layout): This banquet hall is used for weddings and other special events.

1. FAM Trip- A reduced priced trip usually given to travel agents,travel writers, and intermediaries to promote destination.
2. Destination Management Company- A company with an expertise ,that specializes in the implementation of events, activities, and tours.
3. Room Block- A portion of a hotel’s rooms that is set aside for a period of time. It is commonly used for conventions and meetings.
4. Registration Table- A place where you can check in or out.
5. Banquent Event Order- A document that provides detailed instructions to hotels on how to run an event.
