Even Tonal progression is important to Project because it helps with a figure ground activation. Meaning foreground color will activate with background color with a even tonal progression. Even Tonal progression also helps with laying and transparency shows a darker color on top of a lighter color. Without a even tonal progression a composition could lose its communication.
