On my forth trip to the BHS i got to look at maps on how Manhattan use to look in the 1930 and 40s. These maps showed where people worked and how the population looked around those areas. I also got to see charts that showed how the place has changed through out the years. It showed how some parts of Manhattan developed because of how man people lived there. These maps and charts show how crime was and how people where spread out throughout Manhattan. The connection between this and my architecture classes are that we learn about the laws that was created to help prevent the over crowded that the had in the 1930s.
