The name of the hardware store I went to is LENOBLE LUMBER address is 38-20 REVIEW AVE. office number 718-784-5230 & 212-246-0150. LENOBLE LUMBER is best known for its lumber, its cheapest material being Poplar also known as POPI1848 which varies from a 4×8 1/8 to a 4×8 25/8 size. The most expensive material they have is known to be used on boat decks which is called Teak – TEAKAFCS34 which they only have in 4×8 3/4″ size. The staff was really helpful as soon as I walked into the office I explained my situation and was led to a salesperson that could answer my questions his name was Joe. Joe seemed to be pretty knowledgeable of the material he is working with. We talked about the standard size of lumber and different range of lumber they have in stock. Such as Hard maple, Red Oak, Teak, Poplar, White Oak and so on.
The warehouse is pretty easy to find from the Voorhees building its a 14 minute drive and by train its a 58 minute ride on the train and then transfer to bus. The material is very easy to find due to the labeling and many staff working there asking if you need any assistance. Their tool supply is small because they have their tools located in the office. The tools they have are Elmer’s wood glue, Fabric staple guns, paint rollers and sleeves, door knows, drill bits, wood drill bits and staples. A very small but very standard material of tools they have in stock. LENOBLE LUMBER stands out to me because this the first lumber yard I have been to and the staff was really helpful and friendly.
