The work is moving along well. I am in the process of writing out my half of the work right now. I haven’t had too much of an issue with getting the information formatted. I plan on doing my slides for the group slideshow on google in the next couple of days.

Last night I worked then I went home. I didn’t do much when I got home besides review for the 3 tests that I have today. I’m OK with the material in 2 out of the 3 . I guess the interesting thing is I  got my new cell phone. My last one got beat to hell and I don’t change my phone often. It took a little while for me to set up everything just like it was on my old phone.

Like most group projects, this is one is annoying. I am the group leader and its hard to get people to respond  in a timely manner or even to respond at all to the group emails. We have finally decided on an idea. Hopefully things will get a lot easier from here.

My weekend was good. I am a huge soccer fan and one of the most important games of the season for my favorite team happened over this weekend. FC Barcelona played Real Madrid in an exciting game that had a lot of drama and last minute heroics. The score was 3 – 2 in favor of Barcelona, the team I support. The best player in the world, Lionel Messi, played one of his best games this season. A late strike gave us the lead in the last minutes of the game.

My spring break was OK. I went to Philadelphia an d spent most of my time lounging around. My friend got a new puppy so I spent a lot of time puppy sitting while I was there. Didn’t get to spend as much time studying as I wanted because my girlfriend thought I came there to be an errand guy. Overall it was good, I also got to see my friend from Brooklyn who moved out there. He recently became a cop so I went to see him on the street, since it wasn’t that far from where I was.

For spring break I will be in Philadelphia. Unfortunately I will spend a good portion of my time studying for the network + certification. I don’t really have anything fun planned, I just planned on being a vegetable if I’m not studying. My real vacation comes over the summer, Saint Lucia, here I come.

My instruction manual is going OK. The only problem for me is making it long enough. This is something that when I normally explain it isn’t very complicated so I have to go into a little more detail than I normally would. Once i have added more to detail I think it should fall well within the required length.

I wanted to not do any school work over spring break but it looks like I will be studying while I’m off. I think I will have to limit my time to make sure i a at least a little fresh when classes resume. I want to study for a CompTIA certification. I am not sure which one yet to choose yet. Leaning more to Security+ because the test will be retired in July and the new one wont be available till October.

I found it interesting because it goes into how far medicine has come along. Its amazing that they can revive someone who could be considered dead after 2 hours. It’s also pretty amazing to find out a century ago you only needed to graduate high school and train for a year to become a doctor. The checklist that medical professionals use is also relatively knew and I thought that would be something that would have been around for a lot longer than it has.

I haven’t settled on a topic idea yet. I might make a instructional on how to create a button in GIMP.
