Taking 5 or 6 classes a semester is becoming a pain. The work load isn’t that bad it just the mental burnout from constantly having to be focused throughout the day. Couple that with working and I can definitely use a break right about now. Spring break is coming and I’m supposed to spend a lot of that time studying to get an IT certification. I am thinking I am going to need to spend that time to unwind a little.

1. Facing them, grab the inside of their collar behind their neck. With your palm facing up. Four finger on the inside and thumb on the outside.
2. Cross your other hand over your arm and grab the back of the collar. Thumb inside and the other four fingers on the outside.
3. Pull your opponent close to you.
4. Place your head near the side of their head to avoid being punched.
5. Begin to pull both hands toward you while trying to make your elbows touch.
6. If the opponent is resisting drop your body weight to the ground to tighten the choke.

I found it to be a little more difficult than I originally thought. The word I chose didn’t leave a lot of wiggle room. The compare and contrast was really difficult because it was technological term. All sources were really straight forward when speaking about it and there weren’t as many differences.

So far this semester has been going good. I have made a conscious effort to stay ahead of all my work. Usually I try to have all my notes and flash cards organized before we get to or finish the lesson plan for that week. Tests have been OK so far and I don’t have any classes that give midterm exams. All my classes give tests throughout the semester and a final at the end.

The chapter goes into how you must adjust the style and tone of your work for the reader. You only need to tell the reader what they need to know. Do not deviate from your point and stay focused on the main point of the writing. The information given must be useful to the reader.

The project is coming along a little easier than the first one. Searching for the articles isn’t a problem anymore. Now that we have to use three sources it is a little more difficult to figure out what is pertinent information for the project.

I found the summary to be difficult in that the material is very dry. When I summarized the information I found that my words became very robotic. There was also difficulty in trying to pin point what was very important since my article was very technical and gave off a lot of information about the topic. Trying to summarize and reword very straight forward information was also very difficult.

My search for research material has been going well. I have been searching on IT publications and academic websites. The material I have found so far are usually saying the same things so I have to search a little more to get more information to use. I’ll start checking newspapers to see if there are anything I can use.

The post was interesting and it covered Facebooks attempt at making Facebook live into an everyday thing that users will take advantage of. The most interesting part of the article for me was when they talked about the first video to go viral. A silly video with a lady wearing a Chewbaca mask. This technology also has unintended uses like the recent videos posted of Crimes unfolding. Facebook is now faced with the problem of having to monitor what people get to  see, such as violence or anything pornographic.
