Guidelines for syllabi (using template)
- All ENG1101 and ENG1121 courses must use these templates (with the exception of 1101co and 1101ML)
- All text in italics can be changed or deleted
- Text that is not italic is required and can not be changed.
- All headings are required- please don’t delete them!
- Please do not change the formatting of this document, as it is formatted to be read by a screen reader.
- Please do not delete or add headings (this info is required!) You can add subheadings!
- Due to CUNY policy, we can’t make any changes, including additions, to the accessibility and plagiarism policies.
- There are no more exams in 1101 or 1121!
- We also can not penalize students for non-attendance.
Again, the purpose of this initiative is to promote consistency, readability and accessibility for students.
