Draft Maker’s Eye

• In paragraph 1 Donald M. Murray states that most school students would never look back at there drafts. Where professionals would continuously change what there first drafts looked like.

• In paragraph 3 he states, “To them the words on the page are never finished. Each can be changed and rearranged” meaning that even when finishing a part of your draft, experienced writers would alway be ready to do what ever changes they need to do in there draft. Even if it’s just a draft that they would in prove there drafts.

Draft artist statement

I choose to look into outer space for my topic, mainly because I growing up was one of the thing to always catch my attention and would always draw me back no matter what. That is why I came to choosing this topic for my unit 2, wanting to look deeper on this then I ever had before. Some people would say that there not much to look for out there but even just scratching the surface you’ll find so many unanswered questions and theories not just on our planet and neighboring planet but everywhere. I want to make an article on just the handful of different view and ideas on coming up with ways we have put our voice out there in the stars.

Unit 3 plan

To start I still need to narrow down an idea about space that doesn’t really get much attention when it come to the public, like the discovery of earth like planet, signals or messages from space, and the possible of finding alien civilizations. Next I would continue comparing articles to each other and finding one style that would be a good fit for me, some articles would be pagers long and would have paragraphs, some would have photos that shows something interesting and related to the topic that would keep the audience. I would want something that would grab peoples attention, not just to throw in their faces and make them all who read it get driven out of their curiosity of outer space and all there questions with it.
