The Big Bang Theory is the  most common and well known theory that would explain the beginning of the universe. It Starts with immense heat being gathered and stretched in a dense spot like a ballon, in the matter of seconds the explosion expands traveling faster then the speed of light causing bodies of heat and mass to move away from  the original spot, getting as hot as 10 billion degrees (5.5 billion celeisus). The big bang theory is mainly based off math formulas and models but there is some evidence of the big bang, echos, afterglow and more. Even if we where able to create a time machine to go back and try to see the big bang we wouldn’t be able to see because there was no visable light, even then we will have to wait almost 400,000 years to be able to see anything  after the big bang. Currently astronomers are trying to create computer generated pictures of the early states of the young universe hoping to find one that could describle the big bang.

I chose this Article because the authors go into bigger detail of the big bang and its interest to astronomers wanting to find out more about the big bang and the beginnning of the universe. I feel that when some people hear the big bang theory they think of a giant explosion moving planets, suns, and galaxies to one place in space. They were able to give a few facts that i didn’t even know about like not being able to see the universe after the big bang until almost 400,000 years. “Some physicists also suggest that the universe we experience is just one of many. In the “multiverse” model, different universes would coexist with each other like bubbles lying side by side. The theory suggests that in that first big push of inflation, different parts of space-time grew at different rates. This could have carved off different sections — different universes — with potentially different laws of physics” i found this quite interesting because this could  completely change the big bang theory, that we were once apart of system with multiple universes and we broke apart from it with other universes drifting away from the bubble.  Another theory that was stated is that it was less of an explosion and more of a puch or a throw but not much is explaned.
