So far, I have not narrowed down my possible genres for Unit 3. My options are an article and a short video.

  • Article: I would use LinkedIn Articles for my publication since their website is primarily used to publish professional articles worldwide. This indicates that their audience consists of college students and professionals who are looking for articles for work and school which is my intended audience.
  • Video: YouTube or TEDx would be my go for my video publication since it is so well-known and easily accessible. My video would be about 10-20 minutes long informing adults ages 18 and above about the lack of gender and racial diversity within STEM.
