The author gives an example of Bordoâs poorly supported arguments because of her poor quotations structure giving a reasoning that,â readers will have a hard time constructing what Bordo arguedâ (45).
The author states, âWhen offering such explanations, it is important to use lan guage that accurately reflects the spirit of the quoted passageâ (47). As the author is trying to explain how you present a certain language in the same style of the quotation.
By stating, âSome writers quote too little perhaps because they don’t want to bother going back to the original text and looking up the author’s exact words, or because they think they can reconstruct the author’s ideas from memÂoryâ, the author defines supporting quotations to usually be âperfectâ(42). Basically, one usually quotes too little information for the reader to fully comprehend or understand their topics. Itâs always better to quote enough but not too much information for the reader to understand your point of view
