During the 1900s peanut butter has become widely popular, both adults and kids enjoyed it. However, as time went on, it was catered more to children. In the paragraph is states, “The relationship between children and peanut butter was cemented in the late 1920s, when Gustav Papendick invented a process for slicing and wrapping bread.” This means that what was easy to enjoy just became easier. Peanut butter sandwiches were an easy and delicious meal to have for kids. The creation of sliced bread and the deliciousness of peanut butter made it safe for children to have an enjoyable meal.
