For this project, we had to develop a sketch, a focused ink-painted version, and a final colored version in Photoshop about a song, poster, or anything that we liked.
I opted to develop a cover illustration for Rata Blanca’s song, and I made a characterization of wizard, fairy, and devil eyes. Also, I drew some textures for the grass, frame, and sun. About the colors, I contrasted with a dark red to a clear green because I wanted to highlight the envy of the devil looking at a lovely couple the wizard and the fairy.
The Legend of the Wizard and the Fairy is a song released in 1990 by the Argentine heavy metal band Rata Blanca.
