The logo that I will be focusing on is the Bluetooth logo and how the Bluetooth logo became what it is and the impact it has had and continue to have on today’s society. The Bluetooth logo is well known by almost everyone if you see the symbol on either speakers or mobile devices you’ll know what it mean. For some background information Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances from fixed and mobile devices, and building personal area networks. Invented by telecom vendor Ericsson in 1994, it was originally conceived as a wireless alternative to RS-232 data cables. In my opinion I think that the Bluetooth logo is an interesting design and some people may be surprised on how the design came to be.
