Individual Strengths

Becoming a nurse, was one of the best things that has happened in my life, it has allowed me to become a critical thinker, and analyst and more knowledgeable. It is amazing, what nursing did to me. I am a leader, who believes in empowerment, that everyone should be granted the chance to enhance their skills that they possess. I believe in shared governance with your staff member and colleagues. Team collaboration and integration is a must in leadership.   I can look at someone and will naturally do a head-to-toe assessment and often diagnose if there are abnormalities. Having patience is a virtue that is one of my key components that I live by. The compassion and empathy that I possess makes communication with patients and their families fulfilling for both. I am a patient advocate. I can effectively regard the treatment, plans and current health situations of the patient with positive outcomes. It is my motivation and dream to advance my knowledge and be able to teach future nurses to further their education and preceptorship. Daily doing self-evaluation and self-reflection are vitally important to me, it guides me in a direction to grow personally and professionally. My strengths have given others the courage to develop their own inner strength, like my patients.
