For curious compositions, I made a mind map for the word curious and picked nature and tech. Then, I did thumbnail sketches of stable and ambiguous for both subjects.
For nature, I chose the ocean with fish and moon with stars.
For tech, I chose wireless mouse and speaker. I wanted to do plane but I already saw a stable version of it already on the internet. The speaker isn’t obvious when zoomed in.
In the refinement stage, I made the moon with 2 partial circles using a template. For the fish, I made the water black and have a black and white fish reflection. The black fish leaps into the water while the white fish goes out of the water. The speaker is a black square with 2 similar size circles. The mouse is black pieces spaced out.
The final stage was easy, but the inking was tedious.
Final thoughts
I like the final result of this project. What I could have done better was time management and not be afraid to ask more questions.
