For this project, I chose the subtopics the unknown and wants/desires. While working on the mind map and coming up with ideas for thumbnail sketches, I realized how subjective the overall topic of curiosity is, which is why I picked subtopics that could be thought provoking for every person, even if their particular interests differ than someone else. It’s interesting to see my classmates as well as myself create images for all types of concepts that may have multiple interpretations. Doing stable and ambiguous drawings was fun because it allowed me personally to feel as if my drawings were “complete” even though there was a lot of empty space.
It was a little difficult deciding which drawings to use for my final 4 since there could only be solid black and white shapes with no use of shading, but it still worked out in the end.
