Andre McClarin’s Value Painting

“Gordon Parks, one of the greatest photographers of the twentieth century, was a humanitarian with a deep commitment to social justice. He left behind an exceptional body of work that documents American life and culture from the early 1940s into the 2000s, with a focus on race relations, poverty, civil rights, and urban life.”

HI Andre, Thanks for posting the full project. on time. If you can, repaint some areas so that the white of the paper isn’t showing through – as we spoke about opaque paint, solid values so the paint can be thicker, to show more clearly where each value step changes. Remixing values isn’t too difficult – you have just 5 and can refine the piece this way. Thanks
