I searched for many internships as I could but could not find one, then I contacted Professor and she helped me out with an internship at a non-profit organization that provides helpful information to communities.
I applied for about eight internships, maybe not enough . They are paid summer marketing Internship, Calling All Graphics, Graphic Design Paid Summer Internship onsite at Clear Channel Outdoor, Paid Part Time Summer Communications Internship with Brooklyn Book Festival, Paid Public Relations Press Internship at the Brooklyn Book Festival, Externship at Accenture This Summer, Digital Communications Summer Intern at Governors Island and Social Media Intern Spot for Salud Mía.
About the organization
After researching, in one article, when the interviewer asked the CEO what is his organization’s goal. He said the company will bring joy and difference by bringing together like-minded people. They help to solve social issues. Currently, they are working on student loan issue.
Second article, people in the community get tired of false promises from the government and other organizations, and then they start living in silence. The goal of this organization is to work with people of all races to help set up stable income by helping those at or below the poverty line, students, the elderly, minorities, immigrants, and other members of the community who are in hardship or financial, age, health, lack of employment, or lack of education issues. They promise to help them out.
