Here lays one of my favorite shots of the day.
You will see such composition elements such as fill the frame (the shoe is shot close), pattern (by way of the interlocking laces), and not limited to symmetry (as the shoe is nearly centered and contains equal parts on each side if an imaginary line was struck down the middle. See the loop holes, split of the seam, etc).
