The shutter speed from the camera allows Ivan to stay in midair. It’s frozen motion allows to capture the perfect moment and expression of Ivan in the middle of a jump.

This photo, which has my group members walking down the stairs showcases the camera’s motion blur using a long exposure. While the subjects in the photo are moving towards the camera, there should be less visible movement. But the close proximity to the camera means the subjects appear blurry anyway.
These are both wonderful examples of the different ways to capture motion.
