The shutter speed for this photo was 1/640 of a second. The subject is seen strangling a doll and although the subject is still, the doll’s hair can be seen moving in an erratic fashion.
The shutter speed for this photo was 6/10 of a second. The subject is seen riding a skateboard down the hallway. This photo is interesting the subject in the center is blurry, the rest of the photo is sharp, showing contrast between the still background and the moving subject.
The first photo doesn’t really take advantage of the ability to freeze motion. You could have waved the doll around and caught the hair moving.
the second photo is a good example of motion blur.
