I really enjoy this photo that I took because of the expression shown. It has a felling towards it thats is funny. The pose of my model works with the lighting situation that is bouncing off his face. There is a nice backlight in addition to this that make the subject stand out. This separates my subject that I as shooting from the background and adds some depth to the photograph. It kind of makes it look like he is glowing. I used fill light in this photo to add light to some of the spots that have shadows.

One side of Tramain’s face is in the light. The other is very dark. It would make the mood more cheerful, if there was less contrast between the two sides of his face. Use more fill! Fill brightens the shadows.
