New Jersey
For my commute to school, usually they’re not real structural sounds or sites that impact me due to familiarity. My house is located very close t the bus stop so I have like a 1 minute walk and then I hop onto the bus I may have heard a few car sounds and then I was on my way to school on the 87 Bus. Seeing the bus fills me with joy due to the fact that I thought i was going to be late but the bus was punctual in the area of my tardiness. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to get to Journal Square Station and on the way i usually know that i am on the correct bus because I pass my aunt’s workplace ,an adventist church and the gym I attend. These markers let me know that I am nearing my next place of commuting. From there I usually walk through a deli filled with vibrant smells as I make my way to the train to go to world Trade Center.
To Brooklyn
From world trade Center , I make my way through Fulton Center which is constantly busy and full of noise and traffic all the way to the A train. The train was fairly empty and I was able to get a seat to my stop Jay st-Metrotech. On exiting the station, I was met by a cool breeze and relative quiet for this busy area. It took me like 2 minutes to get to school and then it was an eleavtor ride and walk to class on this quiet , vacant Friday.
