Carl, Some of your sketches and have achieved a good figure-ground balance. Good work with your translation from small sketch to large. Do you think all of your large sketches achieve figure-ground balance?
There are at least two of them that could probably be improved in retrospect. The top right 1st sheet and the top left 3rd sheet (probably would have been more effective coloring the lowercase ‘a’ instead and adjusting it differently.
