This is a non-profit company that generates profit through supplementary means and donations for other nonprofit organizations. The company is made up of 5 board members, numerous volunteers, and interns from all over. It is a private non-profit company that is based in New York City. The company generates revenue for other non-profit causes through cause marketing. Publishing virtual events, promotional contests, sweepstakes, eCommerce, and NTFS. This allows them to convert marketing donations to nonprofits. The target audience are people who want to make an impact in the world. In areas such as poverty, climate change, animals, and health & medicine etc. These individuals and businesses want to give back to their communities.
The non-profit was founded in 2019, but that’s not the total history of the company. In 2007 the company was a for profit cause marketing platform. The for profit was a platform in partnership with 1700+ other merchants to generate revenue for nonprofits. The company generated 7 million in cause marketing donations for nonprofits selected by the for profit members. By 2012 one of the partners chose to part ways with the company. Thus, the birth in 2019 of this current non-profit and its other brands. The revenue is largely driven from the advertising, revenue is derived largely from advertising, validation of time and attention for consumers engaging in the consumption of great, fun, and informative content.
I am pleased to say the area I will be working in is the Social Media Promotion team. From what I have read this is an innovative company looking to grow and help other nonprofits along the way. According to Great Nonprofits, the is a non-profit company that serves a greater cause. The board, volunteers and interns are doing a good job of connecting entrepreneurs and influencers to charitable organizations through efforts using alternative revenue sources for the other nonprofits. Taking marketable interaction to the next level.
