Discussion: Introductions

There are many advantages to Online learning such as convenience and comfort (of your own home or office) as well as the ability to revisit the class lecture via available class meetings posted on YouTube.

One major disadvantage is that we cannot meet in person. I have many advantages that were derived from friendships made during my University Studies. Many opportunities came my way because of a friend sharing a potential Architectural client. An apprentice opportunity was made possible from a University friends recommendation.

The people sitting next to you in class are likely to share important roles in the same industry that you are studying to participate in. At some time in the future, they may be able to open an important door for you, or you may be able to open a door for them.

This is one very important element that University studies offer which we cannot enjoy with online learning.
