While you revise your Education Narratives, please think about the research topic you’re interested in for your Unit 2 (Reflective Annotated Bibliography, or RAB) project, and formulate it into a (narrowed down) research question. We will discuss in class. I would like you to think of a “social problem” research topic, one that affects not just you individually, but others as well (for example global warming, or police brutality, racism, or immigration issues, or sexism/misogyny, etc. These are too general, but we will talk more about how to formulate a narrowed down research topic).
Now that we’ve visited the library, find a source (academic journal article, website, video, social media post, podcast, news or magazine story, etc.) to share with the class and discuss. Some possible places to start: Google Scholar, City Tech Library databases A to Z,
Also, for homework, on Perusall read and post at least three (3) comments and write at least three (3) replies to the following articles: Stedman’s “Annoying Ways People Use Sources” and “Pathos Logos Ethos“
