- They seem to be having a picnic in a park

- Season seems to be fall from all the leaves on the ground
- They seem pretty wealthy
- My guess is that the picture was taken to show that women don’t need a man to be out
- The further away from the center of the image the more blurry it gets, maybe because of the lens used in old cameras back then
It would be interesting to find out if the focus in the center and haze further out in the photograph was the result of the limitation of the technology or the desired aesthetic choice–and the choice of the photographer specifically or for this photograph, or for a certain type of camera. Where would you look to learn more about this phenomenon?
