• Preflight Your PDF Visual Quote Concepts using Vistaprint’s Site

• Experiment with Sound Editing Using Any Software or App Discussed last week

Discussion/Lecture

Let’s Review Again the Criteria for the Design Research Paper and we will look together as some design criticism by Steven Heller, perhaps the most prolific and well-known writer of Design Criticism today on all topics. Let’s Review a couple of his recent posts from the Daily Heller to get you thinking about how to approach your own Design paper:

We will now go to Vistaprint and take a previous student of mine’s work and upload it to Vistaprint to check to ensure the PDFs are to the correct size and have bleed, etc.

Lab

Each of you will now go to Vistaprint and upload each of your PDFs into the Oversized Postcard Page to see if the files fit the specs. You can also experiment with selecting different papers, etc. and review the images/videos Vistaprint provides on their paper stocks.

You will also work on your research paper during lab and/or any elements of your ePortfolio site that is needed.
