My name is Joel Burke. I came from Brooklyn College academy HS, and I came to City Tech to major in Communications Design. For the past couple of years I have been interested in creating videos and visual art. I think with this major It would help me find out what exactly I want to do or become in the coming future. I have been video editing with mostly software’s like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for the past two years, making short videos and posting them on various social medias. With this I believe it could help me grow to become a Graphic Designer in the near future.

Although the classes I am taking mainly focus on the Visual art side of Graphic Design, I feel like it would be good for me to be able to branch out from video editing to different areas of Graphic Design. But I feel that Video Editing would be my main goal for the future.
