Photography is amazing. It captured the best moment and tell the story without word. However, there has been debated about the way photographer used their camera. From the article, Aline Marie was captured without permission in the moment when she was praying in front of the statue of Mary. Soon afterward she made a public statement about her suffering. Obviously, in this case, the lack of communication between the photographer and his object is the major issue. Photographers should contact with their object before take any picture, particularly in a moment of extreme grief. Knowing object’s own perspective is an important process because it make the photo much powerful and realistic. photos could be lie specially if we don’t know much what’s behind it. On other hand, it mislead people and trigger an new debate and conflict. Some photographers they misuse the rule of AFP(in this case) that does not required ask for object’s name in public place. This just an excuse. It’s not necessary and they don’t have to follow it. Everyone has their own difficult. You won’t know if you never ask them. It’s photographer’s responsible to every photo they shot. Getting understand and protect their object is one of photographers job.
