I felt that we take many things for granted since technology grew so fast during the years. I think it is great to see nostalgic coming back to photography. Even though we have many high tech dslrs and point and shoots, there are still some styles that are hard to copy. The wet plate photograpy can create a mood that is hard to remake with the cameras with have today. The cameras today shoot very sharp and clear. On the other hand, wet plate photography has it imperfections. Those imperfections make the style unique and hard to recreate. This is why I think wet plates are coming back.
