Civil War-era Processes, New Advertising

I think some of the reasons for the return to the nineteenth-century processes are that the picture from this process is more in depth. You’re able to really capture a moment in depth and get something that is deeper in the camera. The person has time to really commit and show what it is they are feeling or trying to portray. People can instantly try to get an effect by placing a filter over a picture, but through this process you’re able to get the effect right away. Yes, the process is timely but I think it is worth it. It comes out naturally, rather than placed upon. I prefer this process if I was a photographer and would like to get it done one day.
