Looking at the tintype, especially the one passed around this past Thursday’s class, I find it to be fascinating. Who knew photographs could be transferred onto a piece of metal. I find it to be extremely neat, and especially when it is used for military photographs, it adds a dramatic aspect to the photograph. I feel that this practice should be revived. It is nostalgic, and would fill a niche I believe which should be filled for photography.
