SBS 3201 Gender, Dress, and Society Course Description:

This course explores the relationship between appearance, clothing, and fashion, and their influence on cultural identities, gender perceptions, and consumer behavior. Analyzing dress as a form of communication within social systems such as kinship, religion, and economy, while examining its connections to beliefs about morality, beauty, and ritual.
