Based on my performance from the beginning I was nervous because I’ve never had a supervisor in the design industry. I would forget what my supervisor told me to change the prices, the name of the food, and the description because I’m so used to be given a to-do list. Another thing is I wouldn’t double-check the spelling of the words in the design. What I did to improve myself was ask questions and take notes in my notebook. If I miss heard something, I would ask my supervisor to repeat herself. Today, I did a fantastic job on my assignments, I got the hang of making digital menu boards with InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects, because I took notes and asked questions. I have one more week till I’m done with this internship, so far, so good.
