I feel that this was my best photo because of how clearly it shows texture. The close up makes it hard to know exactly what the subject is but you know for sure it’s made of denim & because of it, you can really sense way the denim feels. What is also working in this image is the leading line created by the seam that takes your eye from one side of the photo to the other. There is also shallow depth of field with the focus on the middle ground. These 3 elements work together to make this photo appealing & more interesting.
