Contrast makes a huge difference when we are photographing a subject. The first photo was our happy childhood photo due to the low contrast that it has and the high key lighting. There is no shadows in the photo due to the low contrast which makes the photo soft and colorful. Also the pink colors of the hello kitty make a good combination with the colors of the horizon. In the other photo with the bad childhood, there is a high contrast and and low key lighting giving the photo a feeling of tension and sadness. The photo looks dark and gloomy.
