These two photos were my favorite ones because the direction of the lighting makes drastic changes. Our goal was to come up with halloween photos in which some will have a scary feeling and others a playful feeling. In the first photo with the pumpkin, there is no contrast making no shadows and the high key lighting lights the colors of the pumpkin and corn candies more. On the other hand, the second photo, there is a high contrast, and a side lighting from a flashlight to illuminate the side of the pumpkin creating a shadow of the little skeleton, giving the photo an intimidating, horrifying feeling. It was fun and interesting to learn how the position of lighting creates all different kind of feelings on a photo.
