the field trip was about going to see photography galleries in Chelsea, among all the galleries I saw, the first photographer I like the most is Irvin Penn, his works were mostly related to fashion and portraits. most of his work were done in black and white, very higher class standard like style of photo,the contrast of the photo makes very good attraction on the image.
The second photographer that I like is Nick Brandt, he took many photo of wild animal in Africa, the angle of photo he took were mostly lower angle, to show the huge of the wild life, the background were mostly the sky and the destroyed land, to show the hush life the wild animal gong through. the photo are mostly very sharp in detail the texture on the animal skin were in clearly.
finally, my favorite one is Didier Massard’s work, I love the way he create all his work in the studio, non of them were in real image, the color contrast on each image very high , the elephant and the grass were make it look like a real photo, but also little bit fake if look closely.
