This is my banner design concept for my Open Lab site. I initially wanted to draw my name with each letter as a different object but decided it would have a lot of blank space. I decided to make a metallic looking logo, and angular/solid looking lines as the outline. When edited on the computer I will make it look more like metal. I will probably also create a drawing of my name with a custom font that follows the shapes of this sketch. I chose this concept because I like science fiction and the design reminded me of that. It also has some resemblance to the art style in one of my favorite video game series, Halo. I also tried to make a more natural scenic drawing as my concept but decided this looked cleaner.
