For this project our professor wanted us to pick a campaign about a cause that we wanted people to pay attention to so we had to create posters and a small video/ad for the campaign. The campaign I chose was the Coalition For the Homeless and their goal was to get 30,000 units of affordable and permanent housing for the homeless by asking Mayor de Blasio. I created these four posters and my thinking process was if I wanted people to pay attention to this cause then I had to show them what homeless people go through. I was the model for all these posters you can see me playing the role of a homeless like looking through trash cans to find some sort of food, sitting on the sidewalk asking for money, etc. I made sure when I was taking pictures for these posters that they captured the feelings of sadness, loneliness, depression, etc. I was proud of how these posters came out as I feel like if someone were to pass one of these that it will capture their eyes.
