Preparing for in-person learning in the time of COVID

Hi everyone,

As you know, our class will be meeting in-person this semester. For many of you, this will be your first time on the City Tech campus in quite a while (for some, it may be your first visit ever). Please read the information below prior to our first class.

Coming to campus: Procedures for coming to campus, including requirements you must meet prior to admittance to the campus, can be found here.

COVID safety:

• Masks in the classroom. Wearing a mask over mouth and nose is required while in the classroom. Surgical, N95 or KN95 type masks are preferred over cloth masks. Students who do not comply will be asked to leave the class.
• If you get COVID, you should:
  • Contact the Coronavirus Campus Liaison (LVenegas@citytech.cuny.edu)
  • Complete the COVID-19 Exposure Reporting Form (cuny.edu).
  • You will need a negative PCR test to return.
• City Tech’s Testing Center is at 287 Jay Street (corner of Johnson st & Jay Street).
  • Testing is free for students and no appointment is required
