Update and Wed 11/11

Hey Folks,

Sorry I missed class Monday (I was sick). We’re going to stick to the syllabus, so for Wed. read Smith and McLuhan. We’re still going to do our 1-2 minute presentations on creative detournement pieces.

By the way, there’s a big march on Thursday called the #MillionStudentMarch.

This Week, on Thurs., Nov. 12, students across the country are organizing the #MillionStudentMarch, a day of coordinated local actions on hundreds of campuses. The #MillionStudentMarch platform calls for tuition-free public college, a cancellation of all student debt, and a $15 minimum wage for all campus workers. Actions are being organized by students at BMCC, Brooklyn College, City College, College of Staten Island and Hunter College. Here’s the link.

See you then.
