WOW. This article was extremely disturbing to hear because of what this women has done to her 6 children from 1996 to 2006. I believe that as human service professionals, this women could have been helped by getting extreme counseling, applying for housing and rehabilitation for her drinking and substance abuse. Had this women spoken up before doing all of this, she may have prevented all of the suffocating and strangling of her 6 children. Its extremely sad to hear about things like these because it may have been prevented with the help of professionals.
